The latest recall tells owners they can not park their cars in a garage or covered area - how does one go to work if you have to park in a parking structure or to the doctor or shopping? There is no fix yet for this recall. You call and ask and they just say "oh well. "There needs to be a class action lawsuit filed on this one.

I don't think it matters to GM if their vehicles fail. Only if it causes injury to somebody then when they are contacted by attorneys or the News stations get involved and start letting the public know then GM finally takes responsibility. but just to save their own self. I bought 2 new vehicles from GM and nothing but trouble..I should had went the lemon law after the first few months it went for repair. Never buy a!nother one...I at least get the peace of mind knowing that I won't buy another GM. And the tax payers bailed your butt out from going under...Shame on you GM.

Do you drive a 2001 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.

Tell us what you think.
