I purchaced a 2001 pt cruiser and it overheats ,foglights not working bad switch ,get only 13 miles per gal ,have no book for car, sold to me with bent rim . dash is so dryrotted that it is cracking and vent for windshield is broken in peices, replaced all resistors and thermostat, only overheats while driving, just ordered new fan, cant aliegn front headlight ,have carfax report and nothing shows up for recalls being repaired ! car is now the biggest lemon I have ever owned !

Do you drive a 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
