Description Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2015 Dodge Dart Aero vehicles manufactured August 24, 2014, to October 28, 2014. The affected vehicles were built with a premium instrument cluster and Lowline Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The TPMS warning light may not illuminate when low tire pressure is detected. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 138, "Tire pressure monitoring systems."
Consequences A malfunctioning TPMS light will not notify an owner of an improperly inflated tire. An improperly inflated tire may experience a complete loss of tire pressure, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
Corrective action Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will reconfigure the vehicles from a lowline TPMS to a highline TPMS, free of charge. The recall began on January 27, 2015. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is P76.

Yes, I have a Dart rallye aero... my usband purchased for me in december 2014. I must say the car has some sort electrical problems. The instrument panel goes on and off randomly, the AC will be in the on position but isnt actually 'on' and blowing; when i choose MAX AC it's delayed for 45- 60 secs and the just blasts the air all of a sudden; the TPMS shows a false read VERY OFTEN! So, now i just check the tire pressure every morning. The gas fueling port is only secured with 1--YES ONE-1 little plastic pin! it moves in and out when i 'm filling the tank; these issues may seem petty, but to s widow with small children ;it's very serious and very real. it's a pain, but for these reasons i will be trading it within the next 30 days.

Do you drive a 2015 DODGE DART?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
