9/11/2012 - Ram 1500 Owner
THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS JUST STOP WORKING. IT WOULD OCCASIONALLY WORK AT TIMES BUT IT WOULDN'T CORRESPOND TO THE CORRECT SPEED. YOU CAN PUT THE WIPERS ON THE FASTEST SETTING AND IT WILL ONLY WORK ON THE SLOWEST SETTING OR JUST WORK INTERMITTENTLY AND SOMETIMES NOT WORK AT ALL. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH OTHER OWNERS OF THE 2006 DODGE RAM 1500.

2/18/2012 - gary
hi i have a 2006 ram 3500 meggacab dually 4x4 5.9 automatic, and i have the transfer case problem of automatically going into neutral even with key out of ignition. it has happened 2 times now. i was walking near my truck and i could hear the transfer case going in and out of gear (no key engine off cold ) and i went int the truck and the selector switch for the transfer case was neutral and selector was 2wd. neutral light red was on by the switch, and when i turned on the key service transfer case light was on and both 4hi and 4lo and 4 hi were flashing. and the transfer case was actually in neutral. after frigging around key on and off and playing with the switch in all places. and pushing the nutral smallpushbutton it corrected it self and went into proper operation. this happened two different occasions. what can i expect to have to fix,buy..... is it the same as the 1500. the controls don't have to be heavy duty(3500) do they.any info is great

Do you drive a 2006 DODGE RAM 1500?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
