THIS CAN CAUSE THE LOCK MOTOR BEARINGS TO OVERHEAT AND SEIZE. IF THIS OCCURS, THE DOOR LOCK SYSTEM WILL BECOME INOPERATIVE. |

DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE, AS NECESSARY, THE DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLIES AND THE BCM SOFTWARE WILL BE UPDATED. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN ON MAY 10, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT DAIMLERCHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403. |

Decent vehicle over all but has flaws like all do. But the control arm on rear suspension is a poor design as well as decision to use on anything. My family and I drive this vehicle daily. It concerns me greatly now about jeep period and our safety.

Hi, I just bought a 2004 Jeep Liberty on March of 2011. I am just learning NOW about a recall on the front end of this vehicle? Can I still bring it in to be looked at even though this was a recall of 2006?
