I bought a 2008 Nissan Altima in February 2010.After 2 years I notice the paint was coming off my trunk. I took It in to be repainted and found that it had been wrecked in the back. It cost me $1200.00.Our dealer Jones Nissan in Savannah Tn. pulled up a car fax and found that my car had not been wrecked. I believe they should have offered to pay at least half of the repair bill. After all this was our third car that we had bought from them. We gave over $20,000.00 for this car.
Also the wheels on my car are warped. We kept having to buy new tires every year. We though that it was the tires not the wheels that came on the car. I don`t know if any recalls have been fixed on my car.

After taking my 2008 Nissan Altima CP to Dixie Nissan located here in Bessemer Alabama due to a recall on the passenger airbag it still has the same problem. I think that Dixie Nissan didn't do any thing to correct my problem with my airbag because it is doing the same from day one. The airbag is not working properly it is not registering when someone is sitting in the passenger seat.

Do you drive a 2008 NISSAN ALTIMA?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
