Description CHILD SAFETY SEATS MAY FAIL TO COMPLY WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 213, "CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEMS". THE ADJUSTMENT SLIDE ON THE AUXILIARY HARNESS ALLOWS EXCESSIVE HORIZONTAL MOVEMENT WHEN TESTED UNDER CRASH CONDITIONS.
Consequences
Corrective action REPLACEMENT AUXILIARY HARNESSES WILL BE PROVIDED WITHOUT CHARGE.
