: THE CONTACT STATED, WHILE HAVING AN OIL CHANGE AT AN INDEPENDENT SERVICE STATION, THE MECHANIC NOTICED AN ODOR OF SOMETHING BURNING IN THE VICINITY OF THE STEERING WHEEL. THERE WAS NO SMOKE OR FIRE PRESENT. UPON INSPECTION, THERE WAS A MALFUNCTION OF THE TURN SIGNAL DIMMER SWITCH ON THE STEERING COLUMN. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE CONTACTED. THERE ARE NO RECALLS IN EFFECT.
