THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER PARKING AND EXITING THE VEHICLE SHE RETURNED LATER TO DISCOVER THAT THE VEHICLE HAD CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED TO THE SCENE AND EXTINGUISHED THE FLAMES. AFTER INSPECTING THE VEHICLE THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT WIRING IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT HAD OVERHEATED AND CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000. UPDATED 12/30/14 UPDATED 5/28/2015
