TL CONTACT OWNS A 2000 HONDA CIVIC. THE VEHICLE HAD EXPERIENCED A RECURRING FAILURE IN WHICH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL OR BRAKE PEDAL WOULD INTERMITTENTLY BECOME STUCK WHEN IT WAS DEPRESSED. DURING THE WINTER OR WHENEVER THE FLOOR MATS WERE WET THE FAILURE WOULD RECUR MORE FREQUENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NEVER TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE EXAMINED FOR THE CAUSE OF FAILURE AND THE VEHICLE WAS NEVER REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 106,000. UPATED 10/27/10
