THE CONTACT OWNED A 2004 CHRYSLER SEBRING CONVERTIBLE. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH ON A RAINY DAY, THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL AND CRASHED INTO A TREE. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED AND FRACTURED THE ENTIRE WINDSHIELD. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT+S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A FRACTURED LEFT ARM THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DENIED THE CONTACT'S CLAIM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
