WHEN DRIVING ALONG BETWEEN 30-40 MILES PER HOUR IN MY 2005 FORD TAURUS, MY CAR WILL ACCELERATE WHEN MY FOOT IS OFF THE GAS PEDAL. I HAVE TO PRESS HARD ON THE BRAKE AND PUT IT IN NEUTRAL, AT WHICH TIME THE ENGINE REVS UP. I THEN JAZZ THE GAS PEDAL A FEW TIMES AND THIS STOPS THE SPEEDING. I HAVE HAD IT TO THE SHOP 3 TIMES. FIRST TIME THEY SAID IT WAS A CARBON BUILDUP AND CLEANED THIS CARBON. SECOND TIME THEY SAID IT WAS THE FLOOR MAT AND REMOVED THE MAT. IT IS NOW IN FOR THE THIRD TIME AND CONTINUES WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. VERY DANGEROUS. I HAVE A 16 AND 18 YEAR OLD THAT DRIVE THIS VEHICLE AND JUST WANT IT FIXED AND SAFE TO DRIVE.
