THE PROBLEM IS SUDDEN ACCELERATION FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THE FIRST TIME WAS STARTING FROM A STOP SIGN AND THE SPEED CONTINUED TO INCREASE HAVE RELEASING THE ACCELERATOR. IT CONTINUED UNTIL THE CAR WAS PUT INTO NEUTRAL TAPPING THE ACCELERATOR WHICH CAUSED THE RPM TO RETURN TO IDLE SPEED. THE SUDDEN ACCELERATION HAS OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST TWO WEEK WITH INCREASING INTERVALS. THE START OF THE SUDDEN ACCELERATION HAS BEGAN ANYWHERE FROM 5 MPH TO 60 MPH. SHIFTING TO NEUTRAL AND TAPPING THE ACCELERATOR HAS ALWAYS RETURNED THE ENGINE TO IDLE SPEED.
