THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 HONDA ODYSSEY. WHILE PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE, THERE WAS A SUDDEN INCREASE IN ENGINE RPMS AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A FENCE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT DID NOT SUSTAIN ANY INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 184,530.
