MY 2006 HONDA ODYSSEY'S ELECTRICAL SYSTEM COMPLETELY DIED. I HAD TWO DOG CRATES IN THE BACK OF THE MINIVAN WITH DOGS IN THEM. THE DOORS HAD BEEN LOCKED PRIOR TO THE FAILURE OCCURRING. ONCE THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM DIED, I HAD NO WAY TO OPEN THE TAILGATE IN ORDER TO GET THE DOGS OUT OF THE CAR. I WAS UNABLE TO REACH THE EMERGENCY RELEASE BECAUSE IT WAS BLOCKED BY THE DOG CRATES. THERE IS NO OUTSIDE KEY ACCESS FOR THE TAILGATE NOR A MANUAL RELEASE IN THE DRIVER'S COMPARTMENT.
