REAR LIFTGATE STRUTS ON 2007 HONDA ODYSSEY EXPERIENCED SUDDEN FAILURE CAUSING THE REAR LIFTGATE TO SUDDENLY CLOSE ON PERSON STANDING BENEATH. LIFTGATE WAS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, LIFTED AND CLOSED NO ISSUES. SUNDAY 06/12 OPENED THE LIFTGATE AND PROCEEDED UNDERNEATH AS THE LIFTGATE CAME CRASHING DOWN. NO LONGER HAS STRUT ASSIST TO OPEN OR SUPPORT IT.
