THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR FAILED TO CLOSE SECURELY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT DECLINED TO DO SO DUE TO THE COST OF THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000.
