THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW COLLAPSED INSIDE THE DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW COLLAPSED A MONTH AGO. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THERE WAS DEFECTIVE HARDWARE INSIDE THE DOOR THAT NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 166,400.
