WHEN DRIVING MY 2009 PRIUS IN EITHER WET OR SNOWY CONDITIONS, I'VE NOTICED THAT THE CAR "SKIPS"/DOESN'T HOLD THE BRAKING WHEN I APPLY MY FOOT STEADILY TO THE BRAKE PEDAL. I'VE NOTICED THIS IN WET CONDITIONS FROM THE TIME OF PURCHASE, IN JUNE 2009, AND AGAIN MORE RECENTLY IN SNOW. I'VE WOUND UP NOT DRIVING THE PRIUS WHEN THE ROADS ARE EITHER WET OR SNOWY NOW, BUT OBVIOUSLY HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN THESE CONDITIONS WHEN RAIN OR SNOW STARTED WHILE I WAS ON THE ROAD. IT IS NOT A SAFE FEELING TO FEEL THE CAR SLIPPING.
