THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA PRIUS HYBRID. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND A HYBRID SYSTEM FAILURE MESSAGE CAME ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO COME UP WITH A CONCRETE DIAGNOSIS BUT STATED THAT THE FAILURE MIGHT HAD BEEN CAUSED BY A ONE VOLT OVER CHARGE ON THE HYBRID BATTERY WHICH HAPPEN AS A RESULT OF EXCESSIVE BRAKING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 43,000.
