Complaint - Service Brakes

WHEN I TRY TO BRAKE, OCCASIONALLY, THE CAR JUMPS FORWARD, INSTEAD OF STOPPING. IT MOVES LIKE 6 INCHES TO 12 INCHES. IT HAPPENS MORE OFTEN WHEN I TRY TO BRAKE AT A STOP SIGN, WHEN THE ROAD IS ROUGH, OR THERE IS A POTHOLE. IT GIVES A FEELING OF THAT CAR ACTUALLY ACCELERATED INSTEAD OF SLOWING, AND FEELS UNSAFE.
