THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH. THE DRIVESHAFT FAILED AND CAUSED THE REAR TIRES TO LOCK UP. THE CONTACT WAS NOT ABLE TO MERGE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF ROAD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR DRIVESHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 77,000.
