THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, WHEN THE GEAR WAS SHIFTED, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO JERK FORWARD. WHILE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE SPEED FAILED TO INCREASE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER (GULLO FORD OF CONROE- THE WOODLANDS, 925 INTERSTATE 45 S, CONROE, TX 77301), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED DUE TO DIAGNOSTIC FEES. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V248000 (POWER TRAIN), BUT THE VIN TOOL INDICATED THERE WERE NO RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH THE VIN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000.
