THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD F-150. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER BUTTON WAS PUSHED AND THE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THEN TURNED OFF. THE CONTACT PRESSED THE BUTTON AGAIN. ON THE THIRD TIME THE BUTTON WAS PRESSED, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD BANG AND THE REAR WINDOW SHATTERED. THE DEALER (DEAN ARBOUR FORD, 3382 M-55, WEST BRANCH, MI 48661) WAS CONTACTED BY PHONE AND THE CONTACT WAS AWAITING THEIR DECISION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
