THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE DOWNSHIFTED INTO FIRST GEAR INDEPENDENTLY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE CONTACT HAD TO PULL THE VEHICLE OVER TO REGAIN CONTROL. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V075000 (POWER TRAIN). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. FORD OF LONDONDERRY (33 NASHUA RD, LONDONDERRY, NH 03053, (603) 434-4141) WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
