THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTIONED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE SWITCHED FROM SIXTH GEAR TO FIRST GEAR AT ONCE, WHICH CAUSED THE CONTACT TO TEMPORARILY LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. OCCASIONALLY, WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, IT WOULD NOT ACCELERATE FORWARD. CROWN FORD IN FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,000.
