Terrible car. I have replaced battery 6 times since I purchased a 2005 certified pre-owned in July 2008. One battery exploded. Serious electrical problems with this car - had to disconnect blue tooth, drivers seat controls or battery will drain overnight. I have also purchased 3 sets of new tires since 2008 - you will be lucky to get 20k miles out of a 50k tire. The door covers fall off all the time - very annoying. The dealership will not replace. The car is sitting in my driveway right now - won't start again.

Do you drive a 2005 ACURA TL?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
