General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2010-2015 Cadillac SRX vehicles manufactured April 14, 2009, to September 1, 2014, and 2011-2012 Saab 9-4X vehicles manufactured February 1, 2011, to September 13, 2011. I give GM credit for this fix. They obviously understand that many stupid people doing stupid things with the cars can still blame it on the mfr. and unjustly hurt the mfr's reputation. Conversly, I would never own one of these or anything made by GM.

Do you drive a 2010 CADILLAC SRX?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
