Loved my Cruze until the clutch went bad at 3600 miles! Mostly highway driving, and I am experienced driver who learned to drive on a manual transmission. GM will not cover the cost of replacing the clutch due to driver error.

I have a Chevy Cruze 2011 and had this problem happened to me. I put my car in park to pick up my mail from the mailbox and as soon as i released the brake pedal and got out of the car, my car starting rolling in reverse. Luckly im young enough that i was able to maneuver myself into the moving vehicle and set the parking brake on it before it caused a serious accident. Since then the problem has been corrected for free by the dealer. But i still love my Cruze. Its a awesome car.

Do you drive a 2011 CHEVROLET CRUZE?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
