I have had my 2007 silverado since 6-12-07, i love this truck and get loads of compliments on it. It just turned 57,000 mi., and 3 mo's ago I started to hear a clunking under the bed of the truck when i turn the wheel to turn into to my drivway and also when i back out. i thought my truck was falling apart the noise was and is still very disturbing. The first time i took it to the chevy dealership was in 2009 they said it was the leaf spring assembely, i don't know what they did to it but it was fine till 3 mo's ago i have had it back to the dealership and the can't seem to find the problem, all i was told that if it happens only once every 3yrs not to worry but it sounds awful and when anyone rides in my truck they ask me what's wrong with your truck. I have owned f-150, nissan and never had this problem with any of those. so what's wrong and why can't anyone fix this problem? as much as i love this truck iam considering getting rid of it and going back to

i drive a 2007 2500hd duramax always driving to the dealer telling him my battery was going dead it was not the battery it is the bcm going bad probably caused by the short circuit of the winshield wiperunit that they could not replace when it went bad because they did not know how now i am having to pay for a new bcm. the customer always picking up GMs mess!!!!!

Do you drive a 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
