				12/30/2012 - BLS
I enjoy my 2002 PT Cruiser with 93K (bought 9/2001, no kids or other riders normally), but the electronics failures are getting old. First the Power Window switches went bad on the front windows only (but all 4 are on one switch assembly). Fortunately, I found a working replacement from the junkyard as I didn't know how long I was going to keep this car. Then a door lock actuator went bad (which also made the theft deterent inactive). Then a "no fuse" indicator next day after the actuator repair and a totally dead 3 yr old battery. Now the instrument cluster went dead (no "service engine soon" light, no dash lights, no gas/temp gauges, no tach/speedo/odometer - there was a recall, but supposedly not all vin #s). Also had a factory front and rear brake pad unbond within 6 mos of each other at 30K, where all the remaining pads had sufficient thickness to go another 30K.
