2012 DODGE CHALLENGER RECALL - #13V118000
RECALL FOR AIR BAGS
Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, and Dodge Charger vehicles manufactured April 11, 2011, through December 14, 2011. The affected vehicles may have improperly sized terminal crimps on the seat side-airbag wiring harness which may cause the seat side-airbags to malfunction and illuminate the airbag warning light.

Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, and Dodge Charger vehicles manufactured April 11, 2011, through December 14, 2011. The affected vehicles may have improperly sized terminal crimps on the seat side-airbag wiring harness which may cause the seat side-airbags to malfunction and illuminate the airbag warning light. |
| Consequences |
In the event of a crash necessitating airbag deployment the airbags may not operate as designed, increasing the risk of injury. |
| Corrective action |
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace both driver and passenger seat airbag wiring harnesses, free of charge. The recall began on April 22, 2013. Owners may contact Chrysler at 1-800-247-9753. Chrysler's recall campaign number is N07. |

WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, I OBSERVED THAT THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOWS MOVED UP AND DOWN WITHOUT BEING PROMPTED. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. AND IT HAS DRAINED A BATTER THAT COST ME 200.00 DOLLARS

I own this piece of crap. It stalled on the freeway and I almost crashed. Took it to the dealershi op in kirkland wa and they said it wasn't the alternator and told me to come pick it up or they will tow it. Worst experience ever. If I wasn't a man of Christ I would do some bad things to those idiot service people that work for them. Do not buy a dodge!!!! Worst service ever.
