7/5/2013 - Lynn
I recently purchased a 1993 Dodge Dynasty. I had not even put 400 miles on it when the ABS System went out. I actually stumbled across the recall for the ABS Module. The dealership did not want to do anything. I called the number listed for Chrysler. They did step up right away, however now they seem to be dragging their feet. While the recall is closed there is a lifetime warranty on the part. I checked further and found out that the ABS had already been fixed because of the recall. It has been at the dealership 2 weeks and I am still waiting. I haven't owned the car long but I do like it. Hopefully it will get fixed soon. I am getting very frustrated because everyone seems to be putting if off. I don't want to file a complaint but I will if needed. I have documented the time and day of calls along with who I have spoken with. Anyone have this situation happen?

Do you drive a 1993 DODGE DYNASTY?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
