SUCH CORROSION CAN LEAD TO ILLUMINATION OF THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT OR COULD ALLOW INADVERTENT DEPLOYMENT OF THE AIR BAGS. |
| Corrective action |
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE AIR BAG CONTROL MODULE AND LOCATE THE NEW MODULE ON THE TOP OF THE TRANSMISSION TUNNEL. |

If my vechicle is in 4WD, I can turn to the left to make a UTURN, and I have no problems. But, if I am in 2WD, the jeep will begin to hop and wobble as I make a left-hand UTURN. The alignment is intact as it was taken to an authorized Jeep Dealer for alignment, and they could not determine the cause of the problem. The lead mechanic was easily able to duplicate the occurence, so this is something seriously wrong here. I also noticed that if driving in the mountains on an unpaved road, and I make a switchback lefthand turn, the jeep will hop and wobble pretty seriously. The jeep is a single-owner vehicle, and has never been involved in an accident.
