10/13/2012 - Don
I own a 2010 jeep liberty and the rear barke pads and rotor was worn out in 12000 miles. the dealer just charged me $375 as they do not cover brakes. I called the MFG and they said it was normal for them to wear out in 12000 miles and refunded my money but they could not guarentee it won`t happen again. I had a spped shop tell me they have plenty of brake problems on that year and the brake system is not designed right for 2009 & 2010. He recommended to put cross drilled rotors next time and that will prevent the heat buildup the old rotors do. Chrysler told me there is nothing they could do but give me a refund. I think it is a safety issue and I won`t be buying another one too soon....

Do you drive a 2010 JEEP LIBERTY?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
