This has been a wonderful little car for me and my family, fuel line problems set aside. The insurance is low and I get 30mpg! However, I've been stranded on several occasions because the fuel gauge does not work, and replacing the fuel pump did not fix it as the mechanic said it would. The fuel pump ground wire burned out right through the harness at one point, and currently it has been spitting back the gas I try to feed it. It's been money efficient, if one is willing to overlook those aggrevations.

Do you drive a 1998 KIA SEPHIA?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
