I parked on a hill using the e/brake, came back started the car and put in drive the car wouldn't come out of low so we pull over and turn the car off, restart the car it was just fine. Has anyone had this problem.

I have had a few Mercedes 300D-280sl-240D-e320-r500 so far the only problem is the R500 only had it one month (2006-R500). But I would purchase another one in three years.

Do you drive a 2006 MERCEDES R CLASS?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
