6/30/2017 - Carol
Being serviced by Toyota is what makes the Prius unreliable. They have damaged my car every time it is at a dealership. Damage has been from over filling oil and inverter fluid, breaking plastic parts of the ventilation when recalled for the hybrid battery repair and breaking off/losing a plastic switch cover when in for the steering recall. Worst of all was ignoring my complaints about brake noise from one tire where the brake pad subsequently delaminated and abruptly immobilized the car.

Do you drive a 2002 TOYOTA PRIUS?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
