2021 FERRARA INFERNO RECALL - #22V409000

RECALL FOR EQUIPMENT : EMERGENCY : SIREN/LIGHTING/STROBES : WIRING

Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. (Ferrara) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Inferno and Igniter vehicles. An additional resistor was incorrectly installed on the printed circuit board, which can disrupt CAN network communication and cause vehicle lighting to fail.

Description Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. (Ferrara) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Inferno and Igniter vehicles. An additional resistor was incorrectly installed on the printed circuit board, which can disrupt CAN network communication and cause vehicle lighting to fail.
Consequences Inoperable vehicle lighting can reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective action Dealers will replace the modules, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 18, 2022. Owners may contact Ferrara customer service at 1-800-443-9006.
