THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR FAILED TO RESPOND TO ACCELERATION ATTEMPTS. ADDITIONALLY, AN ERROR CODE (P0036) AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO OPERATE NORMALLY WHEN DRIVING IN RAINY WEATHER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,500.
