Unknown-in January 2026 I received a letter stating that my child’s car seat was faulty as it failed to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 213 child restraint systems. As of receiving this letter my child does not currently use that one and I have requested a replacement product back in March 2026 and I have yet to receive replacement product. I am reaching out to see if I can get help in receiving the product in a timely manner. Thank you for your assistance

I have received a recall late January 2026, I submitted the request for a replacement as using a recalled one is never safe. I have emailed and have reached out directly with chat support. Nothing, no email no response no replacement. I have 2 different car seats affected.

I have two of these car seats same car seats one for my car and one for my husband‘s car. Anytime I try to get my car seat to position to the 2 or 3 it slides right back to 1, I have tried getting it to lock into place so many times but no matter what I do it slides right back to the 1 position.

The car seat recall was issued 12/24/25. We contacted Evenflo on 1/18/26. We received a letter on 2/24/26 and entered our address and selected a replacement car seat type. They replied back and let us know that in the next few weeks they would request proof of ownership and let us know next steps. I feel like this process has taken too long. They are not giving us a timeline of when we will have a replacement car seat by, or a date of when they will tell us the next steps.

I contacted Evenflo about my issue and they lack knowledge on why it is not adjustable anymore like their previous models. The crotch buckle cannot be adjusted to an appropriate position to properly secure my child. As a result, the car seat does not meet recommended safety requirements and poses a potential safety risk, making it unsuitable for use. There previous car seat design was designed to adjust the crotch buckle to fit appropriately as they grow, hence it being an all for convertible car seat. I do not feel like my child is properly secured due to crotch buckle not being in the correct position. In addition, the foam inside the headrest easily breaks and falls apart. I did not know the foam was broken until I washed the padding of the car seat. I have not taken the car seat to be inspected yet.

Rear facing recline will not hold position. Slides from position number 3 (toddler) back to 1 (infant) while vehicle is in motion. Puts my 3yr old in a laying down position which is not safe

When the car seat is reclined in the proper recline position for my child’s weight (level 3) it doesn’t lock in place. By the time, I buckle my child in and tighten the straps it is back in (level 1) and clicks in place. I have tried placing a towel under it per the manual and it still didn’t help with the sliding.
