2024 CHEVROLET COLORADO- Rochester, NY
While driving my 2024 Chevrolet Colorado, both the infotainment system and the instrument cluster reboot unexpectedly. During these reboots, the speedometer, fuel gauge, and warning lights are unavailable for at least 30 seconds. This has occurred multiple times at highway speeds, creating a serious safety concern because I cannot see my speed or critical vehicle information while the system resets. Restarting the vehicle sometimes restores functionality, but the issue recurs intermittently. I have checked with my dealer, and no permanent fix or recall has been issued by GM at this time. This defect poses a risk to driver and passenger safety and should be investigated promptly.

Hairline crack developed on the transmission cooling line at the connection of the thermal bypass block. After looking up it seems to be common. Yes, there have been user-reported issues with transmission cooler lines leaking or cracking on 2024 Chevrolet Silverado models equipped with the 3.0L Duramax diesel engine, including at or near the thermal bypass block connection. These reports primarily come from owner forums and appear to affect a subset of vehicles, often discovered during routine maintenance or after noticing fluid spots under the truck. Symptoms can include hard shifting, fluid seepage on the undercarriage, or low transmission fluid levels, with some cases progressing to require towing if not addressed early. For instance, multiple owners of 2024 Silverado 1500 models (including ZR2 trims with the LZ0 3.0L Duramax) have described leaks originating from the cooling line block or thermal bypass area next to the oil filter, sometimes involving hairline cracks in the lines themselves. ? In one detailed account, a 2024 model with around 35,000 miles experienced fluid leaking from the cooling line block, leading to replacement of seals and the entire line assembly due to cracking discovered after initial repairs. ? Similar problems have been noted on closely related 2023 models, where leaks at the thermal bypass valve necessitated replacing the valve, O-rings, and all cooler lines, with some users reporting hairline cracks as the root cause. ? Parts like the lines have been on backorder in some cases, causing repair delays, and resolutions are typically covered under warranty (e.g., powertrain coverage up to 100,000 miles), though repeated visits to dealerships are common. These issues seem tied to the 10L80 10-speed transmission paired with the 3.0L Duramax, where the thermal bypass valve can contribute to overheating or fluid flow problems if faulty, potentially exacerbating line wear

I am unable to shift the car into park in order to turn off the engine. I constantly reverse and drive again to try again and again until it stays in park or the sensor realizes it is in park and turn off the engine.

2020 CHEVROLET BLAZER- ROYSE CITY, TX
Steering assist reduced message followed by check engine light came on and temperature gauge not moving from cold. Immediately took it to the dealership Hiley Chevrolet in Rockwall, TX. After $250 for diagnostic, failed thermostat is the cause and $1216 repair cost. Known issue that Chevrolet issued special coverage for 2021 Blazers, but none for 2020. My vehicle has a little more than 51,970 miles. Same vehicle just had battery replaced two weeks ago at same dealership and no other issues showed up during diagnostic then.

2021 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 3500- Chesterfield, MI
Power unlatching tailgate opens unexpectedly (after big rain storm) The exact problem in this recall: Safety Recall N232426400 Tailgate May Open Unexpectedly However, my truck VIN wasn't part of the recall, even tho it shows it should be in the document above. I had to disconnect the tailgate switch myself to stop the tailgate from randomly opening while pulling a 5th wheel RV..... 3,000 miles from home. Just had it fixed at the dealer for $144, who said it wasn't coved under recall.

I got in my truck and put my seatbelt on, next thing I know it’s just hanging there. The cable in the seatbelt broke, down by the door frame. Very dangerous! Can’t imagine if I had been in a car accident! Now my seatbelt is a safety hazard! I took it to the local dealer and they said they can fix it, they ordered the parts and said it’ll be over $300. They stated it had already been fixed during a recall & it’s my responsibility now. I would think Chevy would get this problem with the seatbelts fixed asap! I’m surprised someone hasn’t been killed because of them.
