POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE LEAD TO THE STARTER SOLENOID MAY SEPARATE FROM THE ROUTING CLAMP CUTTING THE INSULATION ON THE LEAD.

Description POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE LEAD TO THE STARTER SOLENOID MAY SEPARATE FROM THE ROUTING CLAMP CUTTING THE INSULATION ON THE LEAD.
Consequences THIS COULD CAUSE A SHORT CIRCUIT IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM THAT COULD RESULT IN THE ENGINE STOPPING AND THE LIGHTS GOING OUT WITHPOTENTIAL FOR AN ACCIDENT.
Corrective action MODIFY BY INSTALLATING A RUBBER GROMMET IN THE BRACKET HOLE, REROUTING AND CLAMPING LEADS TO THE BRACKET WITH A NEW BAND.
