Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, LLC is recalling certain SC-3 Single Check Valves

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, LLC (Bendix) is recalling certain SC-3 Single Check Valves, part number K094964. The retainer may not be properly seated in the retainer groove, causing an air leak within the brake system. As such, these check valves fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 2,090 units affected.
