Nissan North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2018-2019 Nissan Altima

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Nissan Altima, Armada, Frontier, Kicks, Leaf, Maxima, Murano, NV, NV200, Pathfinder, Rogue, Rogue Sport, Sentra, Titan, Titan Diesel, Versa Note and Versa Sedan vehicles, as well as Infiniti Q50, Q60, QX30 and QX80 vehicles. Additionally included are 2019 Nissan GT-R and Taxi and Infiniti QX50, QX60, Q70, Q70L vehicles. The back-up camera and display settings can be adjusted such that the rear view image is no longer visible and the system will retain that setting the next time the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

The recall was influenced by the Office of Vehicle Safety Compliance with about 1,228,830 units affected.

Description:: Nissan North America, Inc. Consequeces:: The lack of an image in the back-up camera display increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Nissan will notify owners in phases, having dealers update the back-up camera settings software, free of charge. The recall began November 11, 2019 and all affected VINs should be activated. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 or INFINITI customer service at 1-800-662-6200.

2019 INFINITI Q50 Complaints
Early turbo failure should be extended to newer vehicles not only up to 2018. I am experiencing turbo failure and there is no extended warranty for this repair.;
2019 INFINITI Q60 Complaints
I had my Q60's oil changed at my local Nissan dealer, who provided a courtesy car wash, after which my back up camera screen went blank and my driver side camera was unreadable with fluorescent coloring. Nissan rep and supervisor had no explanation why those 2 cameras failed and referred me to an Infinity dealer. Both cameras needed replacement at a cost of $4,359.27. Infinity denied liability for camera failures despite Internet confirmation that such camera failures on Q60's are "not uncommon" (Google AI search result, attached) and that recalls of both Nissan and Infinity automobiles due to camera issues are ongoing.;
2019 INFINITI Q70 Complaints
While attempting to accelerate my car hesitates and slows down to about 5 miles an hour. This mostly happens in the morning, but does happen in the afternoon while attempting to accelerate to pass. This issue has almost caused me to get in accidents on several occasions. I first noticed this issue when I first purchased the vehicle. I took it in and it was kept at the dealership for a week or so. When it was returned the dealer told me they couldn’t find a problem. I later took the car to another dealer and was the fuel injectors need to be cleaned but this did not fix the problem.;
2019 INFINITI Q70L Complaints
While parking my car, with my foot on the brake, the accelerator engaged and went to the floor. This caused me to jump a medium and pull on to the road before I was able to stop the car. I was ale to stop with the engine still racing. I put the car into park and the accelerator disengaged. The dealer determined the accelerator was defective.;
2019 INFINITI QX30 Complaints
The accelerator position sensor and the related wiring is defective. It loses power during acceleration and does not accelerate properly. My safety and the safety of others is at risk because it has lost power while in 65-70 mph traffic which almost caused an accident. The dealer has confirmed this issue is with the wiring harness connection to the accelerator. I contacted the manufacturer but they were not willing to assist me, and have not inspected the vehicle. I will request the dealer to give me the defective parts once the repair is complete. Shortly before losing power, the following warning flashes: "emergency brake inoperative" and the stabilitrak/traction control light comes on and says to check the owners manual(manual does not provide explanation for this issue);
