Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2020 Motorized Alante

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2020 Motorized Alante, Greyhawk, Melbourne, Precept, Redhawk, Seneca, Accolade, Emblem, Esteem, Odyssey, Qwest, and Vision recreational vehicles. The adhesive bond between the glass and the metal hinge frame of the frameless crank out vent and egress windows may fail which would then allow the glass to detach and fall out.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 449 units affected.

Description:: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2020 Motorized Alante, Greyhawk, Melbourne, Precept, Redhawk, Seneca, Accolade, Emblem, Esteem, Odyssey, Qwest, and Vision recreational vehicles. The adhesive bond between the glass and the metal hinge frame of the frameless crank out vent and egress windows may fail which would then allow the glass to detach and fall out.
Consequeces:: If the window glass detaches while the vehicle is moving it could become a projectile, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.
Corrective action:: Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the frameless windows for proper adhesive bond strength, replacing the windows as necessary, free of charge. This recall began June 15, 2020. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901508.

2020 ENTEGRA ACCOLADE Complaints
The contact owns a 2020 Freightliner M2. The contact stated that while driving approximately 10 - 15 MPH and pulling out of the parking lot, the rear passenger’s side window above the kitchen sink started detaching from the vehicle. While driving approximately 60 MPH, the window detached from the vehicle. The contact became aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V337000 (Visibility), and linked the failure to the recall. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who confirmed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000.;
2020 ENTEGRA EMBLEM Complaints
One of the bolts connecting the rear sway bar broke and fell out. Vehicle has been repaired by an independent service center, but is available for inspection. Reduced effectiveness of sway bar could cause loss of control. Other than service center the vehicle has not been inspected by other entities. I noticed the issue when conducting routine inspection of the vehicle. There were no warnings notifying me of the issue;
2020 ENTEGRA QWEST Complaints
I am reporting a severe, repeating, and life-threatening safety defect involving the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis on my 2020 Entegra Qwest motorhome. The vehicle intermittently and without warning drops into "limp mode" while traveling at highway speeds. When this occurs, the vehicle suffers a sudden, drastic loss of propulsion, forcing the motorhome down to dangerously low speeds on active, high-speed roadways. This defect has created imminent near-crash conditions on multiple occasions, exposing my family and surrounding drivers to extreme danger. The vehicle has been taken to an authorized repair facility five separate times for this exact issue. The mechanics have been completely unable to diagnose or permanently repair the root cause of this failure, and the vehicle remains inherently dangerous to operate. We’ve asked Mercedes to buy it back or pay it off and they tell us too bad so sad can’t help you but they also said on the last invoice that they can’t fix it. I’m not sure what date to put below here on the additional details because it happened five times so I’ll show the last incident.;
