Xos, Inc. (Xos) is recalling certain 2021 RM01, SA01, and 2021-2022 SV05 vehicles. The bolts connecting the electronic parking brake rotor to the driveshaft may have been improperly tightened.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 275 units affected.

- Description:
- Xos, Inc. (Xos) is recalling certain 2021 RM01, SA01, and 2021-2022 SV05 vehicles. The bolts connecting the electronic parking brake rotor to the driveshaft may have been improperly tightened.
- Consequeces:
- Loose bolts may allow the driveshaft to separate, causing a loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Dealers will replace the bolts and related hardware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 19, 2023. Owners may contact Xos customer service at 1-818-316-1890. Xos's number for this recall is REC 002-23.
