Nissan North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2021-2024 Rogue

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Rogue, 2019-2020 Altima, 2019-2022 Infiniti QX50, and 2022 Infiniti QX55 vehicles equipped with 3-cylinder 1.5L or 4-cylinder 2.0L variable compression turbo (VC-Turbo) engines. The engine bearings may have manufacturing defects that can lead to engine failure.

The recall was influenced by the Office of Defects Investigation with about 443,899 units affected.

Description:: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Rogue, 2019-2020 Altima, 2019-2022 Infiniti QX50, and 2022 Infiniti QX55 vehicles equipped with 3-cylinder 1.5L or 4-cylinder 2.0L variable compression turbo (VC-Turbo) engines. The engine bearings may have manufacturing defects that can lead to engine failure.
Consequeces:: Engine failure increases the risk of a crash. A bearing failure may cause a breach in the engine block, allowing hot oil to be discharged, increasing the risk of an engine fire.
Corrective action:: Dealers will reprogram the engine control module (ECM) software, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed April 8, 2026. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261 or Infiniti's customer service at 1-800-662-6200. Nissan's numbers for this recall are R25A8/A9 and R25B1/B2.

2020 NISSAN ALTIMA Complaints
I leased and then bought a new 2020 Altima in 11/19 with 4 Continental tires. On 8/27/26 I saw a hole and fissures in the sidewall of the right-rear tire (Continental Pro Contact TX 215 / 55 R 17. All 4 tires had 7/32 wear on 11/30/25 and were rotated front to back. Threads are good.;
2022 INFINITI QX50 Complaints
The contact owns a 2022 Infiniti QX50. The contact stated that upon parking and exiting the vehicle the horn proceeded to go off for 45 minutes until complete failure, and no warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic where it was diagnosed and the contact was advised that the circuits and fuses for horn operation were faulty and would need to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 51,946.;
2022 INFINITI QX55 Complaints
2022 Infinity QX55 Luxe.....Rear door lock system issues...The door jams and you cannot open the door from the inside and outside of the vehicle. This creates a serious safety issue. People can be trapped inside the car and first responders cannot get the door open...It is a problem with the door actuator and unlock cable design. I have had one door fixed previously with new factory parts by the dealer service.dept. Now the other rear door is having the same issue. This is a serious safety issue as there is not warning for this to happen. There is no way to exit the vehicle from that seat in the event of an accident.;
2024 NISSAN ROGUE Complaints
Reported EMC control issue 12/25 turned out to be a recall of Trottle contol system . Dealership took vehicle and completed repair. September 26 issue occurred again . Very dangerous situations in both circumstances as the vehicle loses power and has no acceleration. September 2026 on a major 3 lane interstate vehicles traveling over 65mph Vehicle dead in left hand lane . PSP state police called to scene as well as tow agency;
