Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, 2021-2023 F-150, 2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD vehicles. The moonroof wind deflector clips may be inadequately attached to the moonroof frame, which can result in the wind deflector detaching from the vehicle.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 174,853 units affected.

Description:: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, 2021-2023 F-150, 2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD vehicles. The moonroof wind deflector clips may be inadequately attached to the moonroof frame, which can result in the wind deflector detaching from the vehicle.
Consequeces:: A detached wind deflector can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will inspect and repair the moonroof wind deflector as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 10, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SB7. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 30, 2025.

2022 FORD EXPEDITION Complaints
1. There was front suspension failure where the lower ball joint has separated, causing the steering knuckle and wheel assembly to detach and collapse while driving- yes it is available to inspect if done tomorrow 2. Driver could not control car, passengers and other cars on road in immediate danger. Car was swerving with loss of control 3 Independent service center looked-this should have not have happened. 4 No happened yesterday was going to bring to dealer after Ind looked at it 5. No warning;
2022 FORD F-250 SD Complaints
The backup camera failed. Vehicle had a 1 year customer satisfaction program and Ford would not repair this because it failed outside the 1 year window. Now, they came out with a 15 year one time fix, but Ford does not have a remedy. This is a safety issue and should be a recall (just like it is on our 2 Ford Mavericks)! The camera was also hanging up and not allowing the sync system to shut off which was consistently draining our battery. Had our sync system updated at local mechanics shop and camera/sync started working again for a couple of weeks and its back to blue or black screen saying “camera unavailable contact dealership.” My dealership said no remedy available until Feb 2027. The vehicle also states “check your surroundings” but you can’t because it doesn’t work. This at a minimum should be a recall as it is a safety issue and it is on other Ford vehicles.;
2022 FORD F-350 SD Complaints
I have contacted my dealer several times over the past year, and filed a complaint with Ford Motor Company's, Office of General Counsel. To date, NO response from Ford. The dealer relies on Ford for the fix. This is an alarming issue, in that the failure will be mostly unexpected and perhaps catastrophic. I find it unusual and negligent for Ford to take this long for the remedy. My dealer tells me no parts are available. I drive sometimes out of state. I may get stranded and still no one can fix the issue. Ford needs "jacking up" to get this done. Fourteen months have lapsed and its way overdue.;
2022 FORD F-450 SD Complaints
After updating Manufacturer Recall Number25SA8, My backup camera and all other cameras are not working. Ford is refussing to replace the Module B free of charge. Looks like I'm going to have to pay then go after them to get my money back. They keep trying to update and the updates are not working. Everything was working as it should be it went to the dealership. Now it is a seroius safty as I have no cameras at all.;
2022 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR Complaints
I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my 2022 Lincoln Navigator, VIN [XXX], which I purchased new from a Lincoln dealership in [XXX]. Since purchasing the vehicle, it has experienced multiple significant mechanical, safety, and reliability problems: The transmission required repair, and the vehicle remained at the repair facility for more than one month while the work was completed. The original tires had to be replaced, resulting in an out-of-pocket expense of approximately $1,900. The suspension has not operated properly since we purchased the vehicle and continues to cause concern. The vehicle has reportedly been affected by seven recalls. The entire air-conditioning system now needs repair, and I have been quoted approximately $2,700. The continuing transmission and suspension problems are particularly concerning because they may affect the vehicle’s safe operation. Considering that this Navigator was purchased new and is a premium vehicle, this history of repeated defects, recalls, extended repair time, and substantial expenses is unacceptable. I respectfully request: A comprehensive review of the vehicle’s complete warranty, recall, and repair history. A thorough inspection of the transmission and suspension to determine whether the vehicle can be operated safely. Repair of the complete air-conditioning system at no cost to me. Reimbursement of the approximately $1,900 paid to replace the tires. Appropriate reimbursement for transportation expenses and the extended period the vehicle was unavailable. Consideration of a manufacturer repurchase, replacement vehicle, extended warranty, or other substantial goodwill assistance because of the vehicle’s continuing problems. Please establish a formal case, provide me with the case number, and respond in writing within 10 business days.
