Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2027 Heartland Bighorn recreational trailers. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the certification label may be incorrect. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 567, "Certification."
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 8 units affected.

- Referencing the incorrect weight could result in the trailer being overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Jayco will mail replacement labels to owners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 1, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901666.
